Do White South African's sound different to a British person?

I can tell the difference between American, British, Scottish, Irish, Canadian, and Australian accents but when I hear a white South African accent I can't tell the difference between it and a British one. It might be because I have heard too many examples of it in movies and on tv but I was wondering if a Brit or South African knows the difference and can explain it to me
