new thermal couple...last week i had noticed the damper (automatic) was in the closed position. i nudged it a bit and it opened and the boiler fired...needed to fix a radiator pipe and shut it down...now it won't fire. mounted on the boiler is..pilot unit (works) a control box when i turned on the circulating pump a grey switch inside moved. that no longer is the case...near that a small box with a red on (like a reset on) pushed it nothing happens...wires from the control box to round black unit that controls the damper automatically. i manually opened the damper....3 other boxes mounted to pipes controlled by thermostats...there is power to these..any help before i call in a professional would be appreciated

My ten week old male kitten went to the vet for the first time today. The vet had a really hard time getting a stool sample with the probe. I've NEVER had a cat have such a bad reaction to a probe. However in the last several years she has had many boyfriends, she is very religious, she has been engaged several times and all of them ended up broken off. I went to portugal April 2010 and had an outlet converter (because Europe and the US have different outlets) and plugged my standard Chi flat iron into the converter and waited for it to heat up. The light was on for five minutes before i went to begin straightening my hair, then, when i picked it back up to use it, the light was off and when i turned it off and turned it back on, it still didn't work. Okay, so I've always been told I'm a "great actress" from family and friends and teachers, but lately and a lot of times, I really don't feel like it. LG Bliss touch screen messed?

Okay so I've had this phone since September 2010, and it's been fairly good to me, occasionally the screen would freeze but I'd end up getting it to work again. So a couple weeks ago, I noticed when I'd touch a certain thing it was off a bit so I calibrated, then it was okay, but a couple hours later it was doing it again but wasn't letting me touch any of the bottom half of the phone. I know of good athletes of all 3 sports where it seemed that the stats didn't support how good the athlete was. I was a statistical nut when it came to stuff like this, probably because I got involved in sport card collecting. However, over the years of getting older I remember there were guys who didn't have the GREAT numbers because of injuries, missed games, slumps but they came through when needed. Hairline fracture in foot???

I fell down the stairs, and hurt my foot badly i went in for Xrays and they didnt find anything my DR thought it was broken and suprized that it wasn't i have to go back in again to have re Xrays if the swelling doesn't go down. Why would auto tires have traction on dry roads but not on wet roads?

I've notice lately that when the road is dry, I have no trouble with traction, but even on slightly damp roads, it's like driving on black ice. Turning corners feels like my car is skidding and on accelerating from a stop, the tires spin briefly before traction is established. I examined the tires and the tread looks fine and the pressure is within suggested parameters. They only have about 20,000 miles on them. Any opinions?

Pacifier problems...want to transition to crib...??

My daughter is 11 weeks old. SOON, we want to move her to her crib...especially now that she is getting a little cramped in her basinett (she is almost 14 lbs, 9lbs 10oz @ birth) She started using a pacifier when colic kicked in @ 3 weeks and it helped soothe her. Now, when it falls out at night and she is not in a deep enough sleep she will cry for it. If I let her cry for it for more then a minute she gets more upset, and then wakes herself totally back up and it takes awhile to get her back to sleep. This is happening 3-10 times a night depending on the night. Her nursery is upstairs and our bedroom is downstairs so I will be running up and down the stairs all night on "binky patrol" I still do one middle of the night feeding, and if I try anymore then that she wont eat, so I know she is just looking for that binky to soothe. How do I help her with this. Yes, I know sleep deprivation is a given, but I want her comfy in her crib and not have to run up stairs all night.

Then I tack it, working from the centre out, horizontally, vertically and diagonally. Then comes the quilting, either following a pattern (which would have to be marked out, or following the patchwork pattern. Or you could just tie it every few inches (A knot similar to a French knot).
