The science of the qu'rran is fascinating? Has any other religion ?

in around 600 ad written that the earth is shaped like an egg or had as many scientific observations be proven centuries later? ( I am seriously leaning towards converting to Islam. ( any rude comments will be reported and thumbs downed.)
