I bought a flat iron from wal mart thats supposed to be compared to the chi and want my money back?

and it doesnt work how i want it 2 at all..i couldnt find the reciept a month ago but i found it today and i wanted to know if it was to late to get my money back? and i dnt have the box that it came in either so will walmart take it back or no? cuz i only used it once to se if it worked
