Is Pride & Prejudice THAT difficult to read?

i'm 16 and in an advanced english cl, so we read like the scarlet letter over summer, and i loved it, and i love the pride & prejudice movie, but i heard it's way difficult. I just wanna read it for fun, like on my own. I don't wanna buy it or take it from the library if it's gonna be super hard. for scarlet letter, since that was the first book like that that i read, i literally had to have the dictionary with me when i was reading it, because i didn't know like half the words. I wanna be able to enjoy the book rather than have to pick it apart like we do for school.
